Well, it depends on the kind of photography you plan on doing. Are you thinking people, landscapes, items, what?
Mostly landscapes and items since I don't know what kind of reaction I'm going to get if I ask people to model for me XD
Well, advice for pretty much everything is one simple word: lighting. Photography is all about lighting. If the lighting is good, the photo is more likely to be good. Toy with your camera, figure out the settings, then go out and shoot to share
